LOCATIONThe cottage is situated in an idyllic, quiet rural location about 3/4 mile from Batson Creek and access to the Salcombe estuary. The town centre, with its array of independent shops, restaurants and cafes is a 20-25 minute walk away (approx. 1 1/2 miles).
VIEWSPleasant country views from the first floor bedrooms.
ENTRANCE/DINING HALLA stable door leads into the dining room with original cross beams. Oak dining table with six chairs.
KITCHENA small, galley-style kitchen with fitted units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. UTILITY/CLOAKROOMAdjacent to the kitchen with washing machine and separate w.c. with hand basin.
SITTING ROOMA comfortable and spacious sitting room with large sofa, armchairs, TV with Freeview, DVD player and video recorder. French doors lead out to the garden and terrace.
BEDROOMSOn the first floor are three bedrooms, all carpeted. The master ensuite bedroom has a double bed, bedside units, fitted wardrobes, drawers and lovely views over the garden and neighbouring countryside. The adjacent shower room has a fully tiled shower cubicle, w.c, wash-hand basin and heated towel rail. The other bedrooms are both twins, each with two single beds, one with wardrobe and chest of drawers and the other has a chest of drawers, both with pleasant views over the garden. N.B. All duvets, pillows and bed linen provided - tenants need to bring or hire all towels. Travel cot available on request.
BATHROOMSIn addition to the shower room (above) is a family bathroom including bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin, w.c., shaver point. The main bathroom also features a large airing cupboard with immersion heater.
OUTSIDEThe cottage is set in a large garden (sloping in places and not fully enclosed) with steps up to a terrace with garden furniture. Barbeque available. Table tennis table in the garage.
PARKINGAmple space for 2-3 cars on drive and in garage and one on-road. (Dimensions can be provided on request).
OTHER INFORMATIONOil fired central heating and hot water. Broadband and Telephone available. Up to two well behaved dogs permitted. Smoking is not allowed.
