LOCATION Set in a highly sought-after, central Salcombe location, Quayside offers the perfect destination for a memorable family holiday for up to ten guests. With picturesque Salcombe's waterfront on the doorstep this is an ideal position from which to explore the beautiful coastline by boat, hop on the small passenger ferry to discover unspoilt sandy beaches and hidden coves, or wander around the stylish boutiques and art galleries of this popular sailing town. Enjoy freshly caught fish and seafood at one of the many local restaurants or sample the delicious locally made fudge and ice cream whilst soaking up the wonderful atmosphere! Hidden behind large entrance gates directly off Fore Street, Quayside could not be more conveniently located in the heart of the town, but the private access and driveway, offering parking for 3 cars, provide a secluded approach to the property
VIEWS Breathtaking, panoramic views over the water from the main living and dining areas, with a large glazed internal balcony dining area with extending dining table, chairs and armchairs to make the most of the views. In addition, there is a fabulous picture window in the master bedroom suite offering sensational views over the water from your bed! Further views over central Salcombe, Whitestrand and the estuary from other bedrooms
ENTRANCE A large white wooden gate leads from Fore Street onto a spacious driveway and then through into a small courtyard area with wooden bench seat. Front door to a ground floor entrance lobby with hooks and large cupboard area for storing wetsuits and other equipment, ideal after a day exploring the local sandy beaches. Stairs lead up from here to the first floor
KITCHEN/DINING/SITTING ROOM A stunning open plan, incredibly spacious area, perfect for entertaining, relaxing or simply enjoying the wonderful views. The beautifully designed kitchen, with granite work surfaces, five ring gas hob, double Neff ovens and microwave, Neff dishwasher, wine cooler, and Siemens American style fridge-freezer, makes self catering a pleasure. An attractive oak breakfast bar has three stools, whilst a dining table seating up to eight, and windows overlooking Salcombes Whitestrand Quay, complete the picture! The living area is very elegantly, yet comfortably, styled and furnished to provide the perfect space for relaxation, with two double sofas, two armchairs, Smart TV, contemporary gel fire plus sideboard containing books and games for cosy nights in. A stunning internal balcony/dining area is glazed on all three sides with huge sliding doors, high ceiling and incredible, uninterrupted views over the estuary and out to sea, and furnished with large dining table and chairs (for 10), and armchairs. The space provides the most fantastic area for enjoying a celebratory meal, or simply to relax with a drink after a busy day out on the water
BEDROOMS Four in total, of which three are on the first floor. The superb en suite master bedroom has a wonderful, large picture window offering amazing views across the water from the raised super-King size bed. This lovely bedroom suite is furnished elegantly with a two seater sofa, two double built-in wardrobes, bedside units and a large fitted dressing table with stool. The beautifully tiled en suite has a bath with shower over, vanity unit with basin, w.c., heated towel rail, shaver point and light. The second double bedroom has two single beds, bedside tables, fitted wardrobe and views over Whitestrand. A third offers options for up to four children as it contains two sets of full-size wooden bunk beds, two double built-in wardrobes with drawers, and offers views over Whitestrand. Finally, on the second floor, there is a further en suite bedroom with two single beds, bedside units, double built-in wardrobe and en suite with shower, w.c, wash-hand basin and heated towel rail. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels excluding beach towels are supplied
BATH/SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the two en suite bathrooms (above) there is a further family bathroom on the second floor (adjacent to the twin and bunk-bedded bedrooms) with bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin, w.c., heated towel rail, shaver point and light. There are also two CLOAKROOMS, one on first floor and one on second floor, each containing w.c and basin
UTILITY AREA A large cupboard area on first floor housing washing machine and tumble dryer
OUTSIDE The internal balcony glazing opens out to give the feeling of sitting outside to enjoy amazing water views whilst being protected from wind or cooler weather! To the front of the property is a small courtyard with beach seat
PARKING Secure off-road parking, for up to three cars
OTHER INFORMATION Light oak wooden flooring in the kitchen, living and dining areas, carpet in bedrooms, whilst bathrooms are beautifully tiled. The house is fully double-glazed and enjoys the benefit of oil-fired central heating and hot water. Wireless broadband internet available. Strictly no smoking or pets permitted.  A £500.00 (refundable) security deposit is required when booking this property - the Accidental Damage Waiver cannot be applied.
