Laugharne is a lovely town, famous for its associations with the poet Dylan Thomas. A stroll in and around the castle can be followed by cream teas in tea rooms, a drink in the local pub or shopping in the gift shops and mini market. The nearby beach at Pendine offers many afternoon activities and a little further afield are the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.

"We stayed here for a week mid January. The cottage was very well and lovingly decorated to a high standard. It was spotlessly clean. It has all you need for a stay. It truly is a home from home. The hosts Katie and Mike are lovely and friendly and very welcoming. They provide all the wood you need for the log burner and a welcome basket was available upon arrival. There was even a welcome basket for our dog. The cottage is in a quiet area and is very private. The area is very dog friendly and there are lots of walks and beautiful sights pretty much on the doorstep. We cannot recommend this lovely cottage enough. Thank you Katie and Mike for a lovely stay, we will happily return. "
