Reviews
"We had a wonderful fortnight in this warm cottage situated among the sheep. Its proximity to the A66 made it easy to have day trips to places like the Lake District, York, Durham, Newcastle, Hadrian's Wall and the Yorkshire Dales of course! The cottage itself was warm and well equipped. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Definitely a place I would recommend!"
"We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week and it very peaceful and pretty. All the usual mod cons and the neighbours (Lizzie and Tony) who look after the cottage were friendly and great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location is excellent for the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. If you want a quiet, relaxing break, this cottage is recommended. "
"We enjoyed our week very much in this lovely old cottage which is full of character, and located in stunning wild open countryside. Facilities were good, and we particularly liked having the wood burning stove going in the evenings. There are so many wonderful places to visit: the Eden Valley is really beautiful, and the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are easy day trips. We took a ride from Kirkby Stephen to Settle on the Settle-Carlisle Railway, and the scenery along the way is breathtaking. The week went too quickly!"
"A very lovely place with very friendly owners. The landscape is beautiful. We never forget this place."
