Nafferton is a small village resting within the countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds and is only two miles away from Driffield and nine miles away from the seaside resort of Bridlington. It houses three country pubs, a village shop, a post office and a fish and chip shop. The surrounding area offers superb countryside walking and you will also be able to visit the stately homes and gardens of Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall.

"This must be one of the best equipped self-catering properties I have visited - and the bottle of fizz in the fridge, cake on the table and packet of dog treats were such an amazing extra. It all helped us to settle in within minutes and feel just as comfortable for the rest of the week An enclosed back garden is a big plus when travelling with a dog - especially when the front door opens right onto the street - and the village is good for interesting walks. The cottage itself is a gem, although the staircase might be a bit iffy for small children or anyone not too stable on their feet. Easy going and friendly locals, whether in the local shop or just casual passers-by in the street. And a special word of thanks to the landlady. All in all, thoroughly recommend - and hope the weather is fine enough to use the barbecue"
