"First impressions were well renovated cottage. I wanted a quiet weekend getaway from normal life. Unfortunately the cottage hadn't been cleaned well. Mouldy crumpets in the breadbin, dirty smeared cooker hob, dirty bathroom toilet and sink. I found the sofas were saggy and uncomfortable and the heating was set at 24 deg. Okay if you want a sauna! The road was noisy (it's right on the roadside) and cars parked all along the pavement three feet from the windows first thing on the Saturday morning. Very disappointing for the money. On a plus note, the views of Snowdonia were lovely once the parked cars moved."
