The village of Giggleswick lies near the River Ribble and just across from the market town of Settle. Many of the cottages date back to the 17th century, with the village centered around St Alkelda's church, which dates even further back to the 12th century. Giggleswick is home to two pubs, with other amenities easily accessible in the neighbouring town of Settle within easy walking distance.

"The decor is beautifully stylish whilst maintaining its cosy, relaxed appeal. We were greeted with a lovely hamper full of goodies and the cottage is full of lots of other lovely touches, of excellent quality. I would definitely return and highly recommend it for a relaxing little get away. Lovely local pubs and restaurants and would recommend the Malham Cove walk."
