Hayfield is a wonderful High Peak village sitting on the fringes of the beauty of the Peak District National Park and being within close reach of the Kinder Scout, it makes a popular base for walkers and adventurers alike. Within the village there is a local shop, pub and tea rooms, as well as Cantrill Castle being a great spot for history lovers. In easy reach of Castleton and Stockport too, Hayfield is perfectly positioned for a wide range of attractions.

"I had booked Spring Bank Cottage for the May bank holiday weekend this year, however due to the lockdown I was unable to go. Christine was kind enough to get in touch pro-actively to me and helped to swiftly process a refund as we were unable to commit to a new date. (Not all owners of properties through Sykes Cottages have been so accommodating). Once I and my party are able to, I look forward to rebooking my trip and spending the weekend at the Cottage."

"Six of us have been back to this property 5 times. It is a spacious, beautifully appointed, well stocked property in a lovely village. There are bars, restaurants, local shops and many great walks at hand. It is the perfect location. We never tire of this place! The owners are very helpful and approachable. I would highly recommend this place for an enjoyable break. You will not be disappointed!"
