There is a family bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC, and a ground-floor cloakroom. Completing the interior is a kitchen, a dining room with woodburning stove and a sitting room. Outside, there is off-road parking and an enclosed garden. High House is a wonderful base for exploring this part of North Yorkshire. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Please note: Rear garden is closed off with barbed wire to protect local animals and therefore not suitable for pets and children. Please note: WiFi is not suitable for streaming.

Whitby is an ancient fishing port situated at the mouth of the River Esk, just 20 miles away from Pickering and is surrounded by the North York Moors National Park. Within this pretty town you will find winding streets and hidden alleys filled with independent shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a sandy beach, a harbour and the famous 199 steps with take you up to the Abbey.
