Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Halwill Junction is a charming settlement, once home to a steam engine railway, it now offers a beautiful Nature Reserve with a plethora of walking routes and nature, alongside a nearby pub and shop. The coast can be reached easily by a scenic car journey, with amazing beaches, golfing opportunities, waterside restaurants and more. Spend some time in the Dartmoor National Park for even more nature spotting opportunities, or visit Okehampton to discover the life of Dartmoor in its enticing museum.
