A beautiful and luxurious Georgian house, a 5 Star gem in the heart of Whitby, combining space, comfort and elegance and boasting an open fire and garden Over four floors. Four bedrooms: 2 x first floor king-size doubles (one of which has an en-suite shower room), 1 x second floor double, 1 x second floor twin. First floor bathroom with free-standing bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Second floor bathroom with free-standing bath, basin and WC. Lower ground floor cloakroom. Lower ground floor open plan kitchen with adjoining dining room. Ground floor sitting room with open fire. Ground floor snug/TV room. Lower ground floor games room.
GROUND FLOOR Enter this stunning Georgian house, which has been renovated and furnished to a very high standard, via the rear entrance and a small courtyard - ideal for storing bikes or beach equipment - into a glorious listed building that has been decorated in neutral Farrow and Ball shades. The entrance hall leads to a TV room/snug with comfortable seating and a large Smart TV - ideal to access your Netflix account and catch up with movies or box sets! - perfect for teenagers to have their own space or for a group of adults, a separate area to sit and read. The drawing room has beautiful proportions and boasts an open fire - lovely to light, along with the candles and enjoy a cosy night in - plus a chandelier, large television, book library for guests' use, comfortable seating and views from the elegant, tall sash windows. The corridor leads to one of the front doors - there's two - which has an external stone, spiral staircase descending down to the front garden below - which is a sun trap - with mature shrubs and beautiful trees including a gorgeous beech which the sun shines dapple light through its fox red leaves. A table, chairs and bench provide a lovely spot for relaxing, catching the sun or maybe later in the day, enjoying pre-dinner drinks? LOWER GROUND FLOOR This floor has a well-quipped, large 'living' kitchen with a gas oven, electric hob, coffee machine, microwave, a tall fridge, integral freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and plenty of storage. It's open plan into the dining room - so the cook can have company! - which has a large, wood table surrounded by comfortable leather chairs plus there's a wall-mounted television. It's a fabulous, spacious room to enjoy breakfast or sit and relax, musing over your adventures over supper, at the end of a lovely day at the coast. Next to the kitchen is a small games room with a football table - always a favourite! - plus there's a useful WC/cloaks on this floor too. The corridor, with original tiled floor, leads to the second front door and into the enclosed garden, from which stone steps lead down to the road, accessed via a tall wrought-iron gate. FIRST FLOOR This floor has two superb bedrooms; the first is in shades of taupe and greys with sumptuous velvet curtains and toning throws and pillows on the deep and comfortable king size bed; the room also has a TV and plenty of storage with built-in closets. There is a charming en-suite shower room with a shower, WC and hand wash basin. The second double bedroom is light and airy with an elegant French-style king size bed, TV, chest of drawers and useful closets for storage. The stylish and immaculate house bathroom is fantastic, tiled in natural stone with a double size walk in shower, a wonderful large, free-standing oval bath, WC and hand wash basin. SECOND FLOOR With the advantage of a superb, large bathroom with a free-standing bath, WC and hand wash basin, this floor has two lovely bedrooms - a double bedroom with a comfortable bed plus a charming twin bedroom with full size 3' single beds and seaside-inspired accessories. On the landing is a wardrobe to offer additional storage. It's a truly superb house and perfect for a larger family or group of friends wanting something special.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
