Overview
A great "getaway" two-bedroom apartment ideal for couples or a romantic retreat. All lower ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area.
Accessed through an enclosed courtyard, which has a table and chairs - ideal for enjoying breakfast - the smart accommodation comprises a sitting room with comfortable sofas, wall mounted TV and DVD and a breakfast/dining area to seat four guests with French doors leading to the courtyard. Whilst there is wifi at the apartment this is via a router in the main house and so signal may be weaker in some areas of the apartment. The galley-style kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer box and washing machine/dryer. There is a double bedroom with a king size bed, bedside cupboards, a tall boy chest of drawers plus a TV. The twin bedroom has two full size 3' single beds., bedside table and lamp, a dressing room and a closet. The bathroom has a bath and shower over, WC and hand wash basin. Note: Can be booked with Albany House, the property above, to sleep up to 13 guests.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
