The popular seaside resort of Minehead is situated in a lovely sheltered spot beneath the North Hill, on the West Somerset Coast. This welcoming town has a mile long esplanade, providing a wonderful backdrop to the golden beach, whilst the pretty harbour is visited in the summer by the famous paddle steamer Waverley.
