Cockfield is a small village resting on the edge of Teesdale, in County Durham. Within the village you will find a couple of shops, a butchers, a pub and a selection of takeaways. Within close reach of the village is Raby Castle which is home to a superb deer park. From here, you could also spend time in Barnard Castle where you will find Bowes Museum, Egglestone Abbey and the ruins of the medieval castle.
