The lovely seaside resort of Abergele stands on the beautiful North Wales coastline and is uniquely positioned between the impressive Vale of Clwyd and the lovely Conwy Valley. Well known for the imposing Gwych Castle, which dominates the town, and its vast sandy beach, the whole area offers safe and secure bathing along with excellent water sport facilities. There is a coastal cycle path which runs alongside the Abergele seafront, whilst walking enthusiasts are amply catered for with the famous Offa's Dyke pathway. The Clwydian Hill Range and stunning Betws-y-Coed, which is known as the "gateway to Snowdonia" are all just a stone's throw away. The three historic castles of Rhuddlan, Conwy and Caernarvon are sights not to be missed and the quaint Victorian town of Llandudno offers quality shops, fabulous restaurants and a dry ski slope. Not to be missed is the exciting cable car rides over the Great Orme. This area offers plenty to do at any time of year making it a great place for short breaks as well as longer holidays.
Reviews
"Just back from a 7 night stay in this wonderful cottage. Immaculately clean and very well appointed. Plenty of room, spacious bathroom and bedrooms. My only complaint would be that the bed was far too soft but that really is personal choice! Really easy to find and very convenient for the local tourist attractions. Highly recommended 5 stars "
"We have just returned from a wonderful stay in this cottage. One of the reasons we chose this accommodation was the location on a working farm and we weren't disappointed. Luckily our stay coincided with the lambing season and within 10 minutes of arriving we were in the lambing shed with all the new arrivals. We were made to feel really welcome and Even got to watch a lamb being born. My 5 yr old son loved it and all the facilities in the cottage met the needs of our one year old as well, with the highchair, cot and stairgate. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome basket from Fiona is a lovely touch. She even left us roses as we arrived on Valentines Day. The stable has been tastefully renovated and is a quiet and peaceful location for a getaway, there was no noise from the adjoining workshop. This is great base to explore the area from and is only 10 minutes away from the Expressway. We enjoyed days out in Conwy, Colwyn Bay, The Mountain Zoo, Rhyll and Llandudno. I would happily recommend this cottage."
"Stayed with husband, daughter and her five year old twins. The cottage exceeded expectations, it is immaculate and very comfortable. There are horses and ponies to feed and stroke on the farm. The ancient cat 'Mogwan' added to the welcome by nipping into the cottage when she could. We are cat people and didn't mind her at all. She wolfed down chicken leftovers and milk. The cottage is very peaceful, with first class sound-proofing between it and the adjoining cottages. Would we go back? Certainly."
"Really enjoyed our 7 nights stay at Beudy Bach, The owners were kind and left us a nice welcome basket of goodies, and they were very helpful. Beudy Bach is a wonderful little cottage presentation was exactly as pictured, very clean and very homely. Location wasnt a problem as I knew the area, but for someone else I can see that it would appear to be in the middle of nowhere, and it isn't as close to shops or amenities as the website makes out, but it isnt a problem if you have a car, and the first impression of remoteness just adds to it's appeal. My son loved his little bedroom and my 7 month old baby daughter slept soundly, we all did, the only slightly funny thing was the ancient farm cat that kept trying to go into the cottage everytime we opened the door, poor thing, I got annoyed when she darted past me a few times, but the rest of my family found the whole thing highly amusing... we were told she was over 20 years old ?? again it just added to the charecter and charm of the place, the whole family just loved the cottage and will be back again year after year if there are any available."
