Sorry, no smoking. Shop within 2.9 miles, pub within 1 mile. Note: This cottage is accessed through a ford, in wet weather the ford is impassable; if this is the case then an alternative route can be taken to reach the property. Note: Open tread stairs to first floor and sloping ceiling in double bedroom. Note: Water feature in garden, children to be supervised. Note: WiFi can be intermittent

Alcester is a town at the junction of the River Alne and River Arrow in Warwickshire. It has a number of pubs, restaurants and takeaways, as well as a range of independent shops and plenty of antiques and art and craft shops. Alcester is known for two nearby stately homes. To the north is Coughton Court, a National Trust property and to the south-west is Ragley Hall. Within easy reach is the historical town of Stratford-upon-Avon set on the banks of the River Avon.
