School House is a Victorin former school house, 2 miles from the small Devon town of Ivybridge. The cottage sleeps six people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin with a bathroom. There is a large games room with an optional sofa bed. The sitting room has a wood burning stove and there is a kitchen and dining area. Outside is a table and chairs and the lovely garden to explore. In a peaceful setting on the edge of Dartmoor, School House is a lovely place for a relaxing break in Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Harford: hamlet (ancient church, cottages, scattered farms) on the southern tip of Dartmoor National Park in the sheltered River Erme valley. Stone circles and cairns at nearby Butterdon Hill and close to Two Moors Way. Shops at Ivybridge, 2 miles. Sandy beach at Mothecombe, 10 miles.
