Situated in North Wales is the Gateway to Snowdonia, Betws-y-Coed is surrounded by mountains and woodland, a popular destination for walkers and outdoorsmen. The River Conwy runs through the village providing waterfalls, river pools and bridges, such as Swallow Falls. Betws-y-Coed boasts a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, and nearby attractions include the Tree Top Adventure High Ropes Course, The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, a miniture railway and golf course by the river. It's also the entrance to Conwy Valley, leading to Llandudno and Conwy via the coast.
