"This cottage was our home for xmas,it was spacious, clean cosy and had everything and more that you could wish for.the owner's have put a lot of thought into what people need.the beds are very comfortable, the views are breath taking.if you want a perfect dorset break this is the one to choose.it reminded me and my daughter's of the holiday film.the local pub is the friendliest Boozer I have ever been in."

"Lovely cottage in quiet location. Spacious, clean and with comfortable beds. Delicious home made cake and freshly laid eggs were enjoyed by all on arrival. Would fully recommend this holiday cottage, within easy reach of the coast (20 mins to West Bay) and other attractions."

"Corscombe is rural but that's not a bad thing in this case. You get a very clean and functional cottage equipped with everything you need in a holiday cottage. The welcome pack of milk , cake , tea , coffee is a nice extra. Dog's are welcome which is a must for us. The local pub The Fox Inn is a ten minute walk down the hill and should not be missed. Great atmosphere and food. Only small criticism is the central heating is quite noisy. Would definitely book again."

"Perfect location for a mid-way meeting point between Kent and Cornwall for a long weekend catch-up with son and girlfriend. Peaceful village location, walking distance to village pub (dogs welcome) and ideally situated for visting Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove, Dorchester to name a few local highlights. We were enchanted by the local scenery, the abundance of thatched cottages and the beatiful coastline. We were also thrilled by the kindnes of the owners to ensure a warm welcome by the provision of supplies for tea, coffee and a fantastic homemade cake on arrival. Fresh eggs for breakfast too. Such a treat."

"We visited this cottage with our children. It was well equipped and comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five of us. The cottage was clean and there were useful extras such as story books. There is a playground close by. Finding a Victoria sandwich cake, eggs and milk had been left for our arrival was a bonus. The cottage is convenient for local attractions and the lack of light pollution is great for night walks."

"I would definitely recommend Pleasant Cottage. It is very comfortable and well maintained. Despite visiting in October/November it was cosy and warm. The local area is beautiful and it is a great base from which to explore Dorset. The cottage is well laid out and it is great to have free wi-fi. On our arrival we were greeted with fresh flowers, cake, milk and local eggs. There is also a detailed guide with local restaurants and day trips. We booked through Syke's cottages who were very efficient and helpful. They quickly checked any queries for us with the owner. The owner was very accommodating and even let us bring our two house cats with us for the trip!"

"This is a very nice Cottage, its clean, spacious, and the children had hours of fun with the reclining sofas. It is situated in Corscombe which is nestled in the Dorset countryside, the village has a little play park just up the road from the Cottage but no Village shop. However Beauminster is only a short drive away and Crewkerne is not too far either so there are options. The house has most things although 3 small saucepans when your cooking for 5 people wasn't quite enough. The garden is only the small bit at the front as at the rear of the house it has been paved over which was a slight disappointment. There is also the possibility of having an open fire in the living room which for us is a bonus, and to be greeted by a note along with tea coffee and home made cake was a very nice gesture."
