Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x Full size bunk bed . Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with gas fire and sofa bed.
Traquair is a detached holiday bungalow located in the fishing village of Eyemouth on the Berwickshire coast. The cottage can sleep six people in three bedrooms - a double, a twin and a single(with adult bunk bed) - and on a sofa bed in the sitting room. Guests have use of a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living accommodation consists of a fitted kitchen with dining area, a utility room and a sitting room with gas fire and sofa bed. Outside the cottage is an enclosed, lawned garden to the rear with a patio and furniture. With the Borders countryside to discover and beaches close by, Traquair is a lovely base for a Borders cottage holiday. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Carry cot and highchair. Ample roadside parking on first come, first served basis. Enclosed, lawned garden to rear with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk, pub 5 mins walk.

Eyemouth is a fishing port situated on the east coast, just over the Scottish border. Gunsgreen House is well worth a visit, where you can learn about the history of the town including its smuggling history. Enjoy a round of golf on the cliff top course or explore nearby castles and country houses, a short drive away. With Berwick upon Tweed 8 miles away and Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne both reached in an hour, Eyemouth is a great base for touring the Scottish Borders.

"Well appointed cottage - 5 minutes to town & pubs/restaurants. Clean however 2 slight niggles - house hoover really smells bad (filters need to be replaced) & the windows were very dirty inside & out with the kids bedroom at the front having a visible gap causing large drafts due to the glazing units failure. Would not recommend putting kids in this bedroom"
"We are back from a week here at Eyemouth and must say this in ideal base to stay. 5 minutes walk from centre and harbour. The accommodation is great, yes has a few bits that could be improved but, on the whole is excellent. family of 5 with a small dog and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. great part of country and this is a great base to explore the borders. I would highly recommend this property for a stay in this area.."
"we found the cottage lovely but. we think we should have been informed about the demolition work next door as the noise and dust did not make it a peaceful holiday. the work my go on for long time as they my be building 90 houses there so be warned"
