Oak Tree Barn is a detached barn conversion in the scattered village of Silfield, close to the market town of Wymondham and the city of Norwich. This all ground floor cottage sleeps three people and has two bedrooms consisting of one single and one twin with an en-suite shower, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for 2 cars and a front lawned garden with furniture. Oak Tree Barn is an ideal base for exploring the Norfolk countryside, along with the delights of nearby towns. Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways. East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

The town of Wymondham offers the Wymondham Abbey, along with a restored, 19th century railway station featuring a museum, gift shop, tea room and restaurant, plus the town has a selection of shops and pubs. The city of Norwich is close by and many attractions, shops and eateries.

"The home was exceptionally well decorated, clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful, although we didn't need to contact them as the cottage had all we needed and everything ran smoothly. The location was peaceful, in the beautiful grounds of the owners' home, and was centrally located for Norfolk attractions with Norwich 9 or 10 miles away. The weather was lovely all week which made our holiday all the more enjoyable. Sandringham was a superb day out - would definitely recommend the restaurant. Biggest disappointment was being unable to park in Holt to look round, despite trying a couple of times; there were just too many cars in and out of the town."
