Reviews
"We arrived on 7th July for a week stay. When we got there, there was a bottle of wine on the table and milk & biscuits in the fridge ! The place is huge and fully equipped. More than comfortable - the views are beautiful. My new mate the peacock came to visit every day and I fed him out of my hand from the lounge window. I cannot explain just how lovely this place is. You walk down the lane to the Feversham arms where I promise you you will love that pub as well !!!!"
"We stayed in this wonderful cottage at the beginning of July for 7 nights and it surpassed our expectations. The area is stunning, the owners are lovely (we arrived to fresh milk, wine and biscuits) and the cottage is extremely well equipped. So much living space and every modern convenience including dishwasher (complete with dishwasher tablets), washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer and microwave. The bedrooms were well set out with clean linen on the comfortable beds, we all slept extremely well. The cottage is located on a working farm so there were lots of animals to see including a peacock and his two peahens. So many lambs and other young animals - we spent a lot of time going "awwwwww'. The moors are breathtaking and the cottage is right in there, we already know we want to go back next year, there is so much to do around that area."
"Stayed here for 5 day's and visited Pickering. The cottage is well equipped. Very Quiet location not to far to travel to any where. Great holiday."
"2 families, grandma and 2 dogs had a great stay over Christmas! The cottage had everything we needed and was warm and welcoming, as was the owner! The open fire was an added bonus and there was plenty of space for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return at another time."
"The owners had left mugs and everything ready to make a cup of tea on our arrival, and a bottle of wine. This was very much appreciated on a dark December night. It was warm and inviting and had everything we needed. My large family had a fantastic stay, thank you"
"been 3 times now love it. Fantastic hosts and surroundings. Everything you need want to be there all the time."
"The family holiday was a complete success. The cottage was excellent for our needs, our hosts friendly and attentive, the weather was kind and the scenery superb. I'd forgotten how glorious are the North Yorks moors. The only criticisms that could be levelled were due to my wife being severely disabled with arthritis. The drive up to the cottage was very rough and bone-shaking, the steps to the house rather steep for her and the settees in the cottage itself were very low and difficult for her to use' However, as I said, that was due to my wife's condition rather than the cottage itself, but it is a point I think Mr Robinson might care to consider for the future."
"The cottage was very well equiped, clean and the owners were very welcoming. The location was fantastic with suberb views making our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. There was great places to visit nearby such as Pickering, Thirsk and the coast."
"Will always return to area, and this cottage. I have been staying in Yorkshire for the past 4 years on holiday camps, but this was first time in a rented cottage, we would rate this holiday as the best stay that we had."
"Very homely, enough room for the eight of us plus one dog who stayed here last September."
