The pleasant seaside town of Abergele stands on the lovely North Wales coastline and is ideally positioned between the stunning Vale of Clwyd and the lovely Conwy Valley. Renowned for the impressive Gwrych Castle which overlooks the town, and its enormous sandy beach, the whole area offers safe bathing waters and excellent watersports facilities. There is also a coastal cycle path which runs along the Abergele seafront, and for walking enthusiasts, the Offa's Dyke pathway, the Clwydian Hill Range and beautiful Betws-y-Coed known as the "Gateway to Snowdonia" are all nearby. The beautiful castles of Rhuddlan, Bodelwyddan, Conwy and Caernarfon are not to be missed, and the delightful award-winning Victorian town of Llandudno, offering quality shops, restaurants, a fantastic dry ski slope and exciting cable car rides over the Great Orme, is within easy driving distance. There is plenty to do in this wonderful region at any time of the year!
Reviews
"We stayed here for a week and were very impressed with th cleanliness of the accommodation and found it to be well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and a good washing machine and dryer. The decor was lovely. The bungalow was amongst other similar properties but was extremely quiet. The garden was private and, importantly for our dogs, safe and enclosed. There is a Tesco just up the road and easy access to the A55 for visiting places of interest. The pebble beach took 15 minutes to walk to. A very homely and pleasant place to stay."
"Sat 22 feb Sat 1 March We had a great holiday at avalon the owners were Friendly the bungalow was home from home ,Very clean and comfortable and would have no problem in recommending this holiday home .Its in a good location just a short walk into abergele ."
"This clean, bright and comfortable bungalow, owned by a welcoming and friendly couple, provided the ideal location to swim in the sea, and visit all the attractive places that North Wales has to offer. We can thoroughly recommend it, and have nothing negative to say."
"Very good everything we needed and close to everything"
"this was a very clean and very well presented bungalow and the amenities were first class, one small thing that could have been better was the bath tap not working. The bungalow was well appointed and central to number of places we would go again and may well do just that."
"took the grandkids there perfect for the job we were verry happy with the service we received easy booking on linealso helpfull on the phone all you needed was there even tea facilities cereal etc verry handy ideal spot for everywhere excelent accomodation will recomend to anyone"
"Everything we needed and more but would have liked more cupboard space for food. The location was excellent and handy for places."
"Had a great time there. Place was spotlessly clean and there were things in there for us to use like Milk, Bread, Flowers, lots of lists of places to see etc that sort of basics - nice touch by the owner. We liked it as it was about 10 mins walk to the beach, 5 mins to Tesco. Very quiet. Nice neighbours who were very helpful. Parking on the drive. Secluded back garden that caught the morning sun. Front garden that caught the evening sun. Well appointed. Comfortable seats in the lounge, Bed comfortable. Games & reading material available. Spotlessly clean. Nice Kitchen to work in if you wanted to cook yourself. Good range of cooking utensils, It is the renters home and they move out to rent it out so it is."
