Reviews
"A very well equipped and comfortable house with a great games room and a beautiful garden Most comfortable beds a a great p;lace to stay"
"We really enjoyed our stay in Ludlow at this very clean and comfortable house. A short walk to central Ludlow and a good location for exploring further in south Shropshire"
"Fantastic location. Kids loved the games room Great welcome pack. Would love to go again. Ludlow was lovely."
"We had an excellent week in this very comfortable home ( home from home in fact ) Location was brilliant - within easy walking distance of Ludlow town centre. The house was very, very well equipped and having the friendly owners next-door a bonus! All in all - could not fault it."
"This is our first experience of staying in a rented holiday cottage and if this is what we can expect it is certainly be something that we will repeat. The booking was easy and swift to make and the matter of collecting the property key completely without any hassles. The property is very well located being about a 10 minute walk from the railway station and a few more minutes walk to the town centre itself but on a residential street so little traffic or noise. The accommodation itself was very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone and was also very well equiped both upstairs and down. There was a games room which the younger generation in particular enjoyed but also a summer house should anyone else want to escape for a while. The grounds were also of a very good standard with plenty of off-road parking at the front and mature gardens at the rear providing plenty of shade. On arrival we found that the owners had left us a few welcoming gifts as well as plenty of brochures for the town and its environs, places to visit, eat, local public transport timetables etc. We met the owners shortly after arrival and they were very friendly and helpful, willing to answer any questions as well as make a few suggestions to enhance our stay. We were certainly helped by gloriously sunny weather but overall we all had a very enjoyable stay and I would certainly recommend it to friends."
"The property offered a warm and cosy refuge from the near-freezing, snowy conditions outdoors. Family of 5 from australia couldn't take full advantage of the garden because of the weather (though the snowball fights were fun, but appreciated the games room."
"Sunningdale was by far the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. The owners were fantastic and it was a home away from home, an extremely well equipped home with extras. The games room was brilliant and although we did not have an opportunity to use the garden in November, it is definitely a place I would love to stay at in the summer to take advantage of. Ludlow and the surrounding areas are beautiful. Stunning scenery and a variety of shops and places to visit. There is an excellent choice of places to eat. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a first class holiday and we will definitely return ourselves in the future."
