"Arrived at the cottage to a wow factor. Super clean. Simply a beautiful cottage set on a farm. Views was beautiful lots of hills. Just perfect. A very quiet area which was perfect for what we wanted. Log fire was already for us to put on in the evening. I would 100% recommend the cottage to anyone and would return in a heart beat. The perfect relaxation weekend. Thank you also to the owners for the milk biscuits & bread. Thank you Jane xx"

"Lovely cottage in a great location. Very well furnished and great attention to detail we felt very comfortable and relaxed here. The cottage was great for our kids aged 1&5 as it was all on one level it was great for the little one to cruise around and the 5 year old loved the space and garden with trampoline. The views are fantastic and my kids loved playing with the dog twig really enjoyable holiday will be back! "

"This single storey high quality cottage is located on a working farm north of Kendal with great views of the surrounding countryside. It makes a superb base for exploring this part of the UK. The owners John and Hazel are very welcoming and helpful and prepare their cottage to a very high standard. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and can genuinely say that this one is amongst the two best ones we have ever experienced. The cottage was created from existing farm buildings a couple of years ago and is fitted out with quality furniture as well as being decorated very tastefully. With underfloor central heating throughout it is also very warm and cosy for a winter break and the logburner in the lounge is a bonus. The WiFi is efficient and there are also TVs in the lounge and each bedroom. In summary, this cottage has absolutely everything you could need for a holiday in this area and we definitely intend to return in the future."

"We stayed at Little Crake Howe for a week. The accommodation is fitted out to an excellent standard and is very good indeed. It has all you need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable, stunning views, not too far from the main town and quite well placed for visiting other parts of the Lake District and Yorkshire too. Highly recommend."

"We have just returned from a week's stay at Little Crake House, what a shame we could not have stayed for longer, we were all sad to leave. The cottage is beautiful, it is well furnished with quality items right through, the bed's are so comfortable we would have liked to have brought them home, the photo's really do not do it justice, go & stay & you will know what I mean. The views are outstanding, there is plenty of parking & a lovely garden. It is well placed to visit the Lakes & also the Yorkshire Dales. John & Hazel are very friendly & there were some lovely goodies to welcome us when we arrived. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cottage, we will be back."

"A real gem which more than matches the description in the web site. The location is ideal set in beautiful countryside which you access by walking out of the front door. Yet you are 20 minutes drive to the heart of the Lakes .However it is the quality of the facilities and the service of the owners which makes this cottage stand out."
