"Fantastic New Year with the family. The location was perfect, the views of the bay was fantastic. Cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, not the most modern cottage but very homely and comfortable which suited us perfectly. I will certainly return and recommend to friends."

"I loved this cottage and was very sad to leave. My partner and I had an amazing holiday in Skye and this cottage was the perfect base. The photos don't do it justice and the view out over staffin bay and island is beautiful. The owners were really friendly and helpful when we spoke to them on the phone and there was plenty of info and maps in the cottage to guide you round the island. I'd highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again."

"What an amazing cottage, when we arrived we just sat outside admiring the brilliant view of the bay and the mountains in the background. The cottage is lovely with all the amenities you would expect plus very comfortable and light with stunning views from every room. There are local shops close by so everything is catered for.We had lovely walks in the mountains and we met a few of the locals who were very helpful and chatty, one holiday we really were pleased we went on 10/10"

"We had never visited the Isle of Skye, so were more than pleased when I booked a holiday week. We broke the 430 mile journey from Yorkshire by way of a b and b 15 miles or so west of Glasgow, thus enabling us to travel though the Highlands in day light hours. The Cottage is enchanting, very 'tardis' like, clean tidy and nicely decorated with a nice modern kitchen, lounge, and bathroom on the ground floor and three bedrooms upstairs. On our arrival the weather was still lovely and sunny so we were able to sit outside, in the garden, which overlooked the sea and stoney beach. The sound of the water lapping onto the beach, from our view up on the hill side, as we sipped our respective glasses of wine, was fantastic. Peace and tranquillity ruled. No need to light the coal and log burning fire in the lounge, a small electric fire was adequate when needed at night. The foot thick stone walls kept out any noise from the outside world. Lots of off road walks available near-by, and a local shop, only 5 mins drive can provide most requirements. The local Community Hall, 10 mins by car, provides a good selection of snacks and drinks, which was ideal as we returned from some of our walks. (Our biggest regret was the fact we didn't own this lovely cottage). A lovely scenic Island, and a beautiful old Cottage. What a fantastic week we had. Bev, Fraser, and Harvey our Lab. He loved it as well."
