Reviews
"As last reviewer, would like to say that we enjoyed staying in this characterful cottage and the location met our requirements for closeness to nice beaches and places of interest, but unfortunately the general cleanliness of the cottage was a bit poor. Cobwebs and dust around, used uncleaned oven trays, bed linen not clean or fresh. The whole property needing airing and some updates required, like a bathroom mirror, a clothes lines for the garden that wasn't broken. On arrival a caravan and rubble were in the drive which spoilt the appearance, the sign for the property was too hidden and instructions confusing for finding the cottage. The TV has a green tinge which last reviewer mentioned and the pub is further than 6 minutes in walking distance. If the cleanliness of the property was improved and the little updates to it administered it could be a much better stay."
"Firstly I would like to say that I enjoyed my time at this cottage. It was very peaceful & the evenings in front of the feature fireplace were lovely. I also greatly liked the area. Very tranquil & pretty. The neighbours were also lovely people & we enjoyed watching the birds in their garden. The garden of Brynaber cottage was lovely. A couple of things to note. The holiday rental company states that the cottage is under 1 mile & only 6 minutes walk away. The nearest pub is actually 0.9 miles away on a partially unlit road with no pavement and took me considerably longer than 6 minutes to walk there. (I have contacted Sykes holidays who advertise this in case they would like to amend the details on their website). The picture on the TV was GREEN! (Not a massive problem if like us you don't watch TV too often, but annoying when you do). The cottage also has a small damp issue by the side of the fireplace."
