Nibletts Patch Cottage makes an ideal retreat for couples, walkers, cyclists or just those looking to relax in a beautiful rural setting yet close to market towns and forest trails. Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Enclosed front decked area with furniture and BBQ available. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles. Note: There are 3 steps between the bedroom and the living area.

Littledean is a village on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It has a shop, two pubs and a Post Office, and is surrounded by countryside for walking and cycling. Activities in the Forest of Dean include caving, high ropes, horse riding and more, while Gloucester and Ross-on-Wye offer shops, restaurants and more.

"The cottage is situated in Pope's Hill, close to the River Severn and the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. It adjoins the family home of the owners: a Schoolteacher Stephen and Samantha his wife - a Vet. It is easilly approached by car, from either the village of Littledean (handy for basic shopping) and Flaxley. It is essentially a private small-holding with stabling for the family's horse and children's pony. Fresh hen's eggs are available in the laying season. For those who seek peace, quiet and relaxation, it is the perfect setting. The accommodation is fully adequate and most suitable to the holiday requirements of a couple or single use. As a single occupant for two weeks,I was visiting the area from Germany, I found a warm welcome and enjoyed a friendly situation. There are pleasant areas for walking and observing the beauty of nature with the possibility of spotting roaming wild boar. With March still wintery, I was warm and cosy in the open space lounge cum kitchen. I was able to communicate ably via Internet & Wi-Fi. Nibblett's Patch Cottage is great value. I recommend it. I would love to return to stay there again."
