Reviews
"The house was welcoming and in a great location. The beach is a short walk away. No issues with the property. Already booked again for next year."
"Property needs attention, it is damp and smells damp, paint peeling off, damp/dirty cupboards, dirty net curtain, dirty cups, cutlery kept in tin bucket! Worn-out white old sofa, other sofa sticky, we had to cover both to be able to sit down. Most of cushions worn/dirty. Fridge/freezer rusty on doors, freezer jammed up with ice. Master double-bed very uncomfortable and hard, second double-bed the bed-frame squeaks every time you move, only a roller-blind and no curtains so be prepared to wake at the crack of dawn. One small wardrobe for both upstairs bedrooms, again the sticky feeling that you feel throughout the house was even on the hangers. Bathroom roller-blind broken, no hand-towel rail, general sticky feeling throughout even on backs of dining chairs. Disgusting back yard, you wouldn't want to sit there. We just used the property to sleep in and didn't even want to eat our breakfast there, grandparents left after 2 nights, spoilt our holiday thanks very much!"
"The property is in a great location. A gentle walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Having breakfast in the Sea Shanty is a must! If you wish to stay indoors, the view of the waves crashing into the rocks is relaxing. The property has been furnished with thought. Even though the weather wasn't great, we had a great stay."
"Fantastic cottage and excellent value for money. It was clean, well equipped and spacious for 4 adults and a toddler. We certainly had no complaints with false advertising! It is excellently situated, a 5 minute walk from the beach at Trearddur Bay and a 20 minute drive from RSPB South Stack. All contact with the owner was excellent - speedy responses and she let us know that if needed she was available throughout our stay. Neighbours are friendly and most seemed to be permanent residents. We look forward to revisiting Anglesey in the future and would certainly check for availability here."
"the photos make this property look very stylish, but they are not representative of what we found in december '15 (no large mirror, blue fluffy cushions or radio for example) and in our opinion it is in now need of a bit of money spending on it-the windows are badly fitted so provide no barrier to wind noise or rain coming in, the blinds and curtains are cheap with marks on or holes in and there is damp affecting the plaster around the windows. it was a bit small for 6 people-only 1 bathroom, not enough seating in the lounge area, and definitely not enough storage space. there is nowhere to hang coats or put outdoor shoes and the 2 double bedrooms on the top floor have one single wardrobe between them which is on the landing."
"We had a lovely stay at The Spinnaker it was a beautifully decorated cottage and very practicable, it had everything we needed and was a safe/off the road site for a 3 year old to be outside kicking his ball. It was close to all the amenities and great walking (and scooting distance) to shops, restaurants, beach and play ground. It even had a great stock of toys, books and DVD collection for those rainy days! We would definitely stay again without hesitation."
"We found the property to be beautifully furnished and decorated, the only quibble we had was that we would find it a bit of a squash for six as there was only the one bathroom and toilet combined but otherwise really good."
"We had such a lovely stay at the spinnaker. It had everything we needed in the house and with 2 small children it was so ideal. We liked the three floors and the amount of space we had. The beach is nearby and a small play area opposite. Great for family's or couples wanting long walks by the beach."
"The cottage is beautiful. Really clean and welcoming with lots of nice goodies on arrival which the children loved. Nice area outside for eating out and the Bay and the beach are beautiful. Our family had a great time. Only one comment, the gate in the garden could do with repairing many thanks for the stay"
