Set between the Great Orme and the Little Orme, the village of Llandudno is a popular destination due to the town's two waterfronts. With both The North Shore and The West Shore, there are two beaches for visitors to choose from, the former offering a wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the latter offering contrast with its miles of sandy shoreline backed by dunes and superb views of nearby Anglesey. For great photo opportunities from the 600 feet high Great Orme summit, visitors can enjoy a relaxing trip up via the Tramway or cable car. There are a number of excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in the town whilst just four miles away is the World Heritage Site of Conwy. Dominated by its castle this lovely town is completely enclosed by its well-preserved walls.
Reviews
"We go away twice a year as a large group and selecting a good property is a challenge however this property was superb, good spacious bedrooms all well presented and clean, lovely loft area for children. The kitchen was very well set up with excellent facilities, the lovely piano room with books and games a plenty, good outdoor area to dine in summer (a bit cold for us in October) The dining room linking the kitchen was great for dining and enjoying wine with the chef as well as diners !!, there are 2 stair cases and one is not suitable for very young children as highly polished wood, however the owner had supplied stair gates. The lounge was lovely with open fire and comfy sofa etc, the house was full of charm and well presented, parking was a minor issue (and to be fair we had 3 cars) but it was a quiet residential area and we played music cars so was fine. the location for Llandudno was fantastic ! I am late with this review as I thought I had placed it on. The owner was very helpful and friendly as think we needed some advice so came round. We tried to book this year but booked up !! Great house and cracking location."
"We enjoyed a family holiday here at the beginning of July, there were 6 adults and 1 14 month old toddler. We were greeted by the owner and shown around and given a welcome pack. From start to finish the stay in this house was superb. It was very clean, and well equipped, really felt like a home from home. We loved having so much space so we were not on top of each other. We spent a few days out and about travelling to nearby places to visit and some days just staying in Llandudno. We enjoyed walks into the town along the sea front which took about 20 minutes. We really loved our stay and didn't want to leave, would highly recommend this place to anyone."
"Uncle from Pakistan was visiting so took him for a break. Loved the spacious cottage, its facilities and mainly the location which had many attractions and beautiful palaces to visit."
