Composed of nearly 500 acres of heathland, fen, grassland and woodland this impressive area offers superb walking opportunities. The neighbouring hamlets of Grimston, Roydon and Congham are home to a selection of good pubs, whilst nearby Middleton Hall Golf Club offers visitors a chance to try out its 18-hole course. Reviews
"If you want somewhere clean and comfortable with plenty of parking and a lovely garden then this is it! If you want a glass conservatory to sit back, relax and whatever the weather, watch the birds soaring etc then this is it! If you want somewhere you are immediately made to feel welcome in, then the secret to it is to say nothing and give no feedback, otherwise you cannot book your favourite spot in next years calendar - but we have already booked 2 weeks for 2019 - so there!!"
"A lovely spacious home, comfortable, very well equipped and clean. There was plenty of information supplied about the house with books, brochures and advice on places to go, see and eat. We were grateful to have a special welcome pack on our arrival. Our stay was very pleasant and we were sorry to leave at the end of the week. The only addition this house needs would be to have WIFI available. We would certainly recommend this property."
"My sister and I enjoyed our stay at Willow Sunrise, it was comfortable and well situated. The owners Joy and Colin were very welcoming. It was also great that we could bring our dogs who I must say also enjoyed themselves. We certainly would have no hesitation in staying here again when holidaying in Norfolk. We can highly recommend Willow Sunrise."
"Hosts extremely friendly, nothing to much trouble. Accomadation clean, lovely big garden."
"Had a brilliant stay in this spacious home in a nice quiet village. Easy acces to attractions, lovely garden to sit in, spacious rooms with everythying you need!"
"Pott Row is a quiet little village but within easy travelling distance to many places of interest. Willow Sunrise is a charming bungalow with plenty of space and a lovely atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and helpful and are contactable if need be. I would certainly go again."
"This was our second visit to Willow Sunrise and we found it just as charming, comfortable and enjoyable as the first one. The bungalow is spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a superb garden which is highly suitable for children and dogs. The owners, Mr and Mrs Barlow go to great lengths to make your holiday as happy as possible, providing not only a kind gift of fruit and milk on arrival for the humans but a nice little dog treat for the pooch, which I think is a lovely thought. The village of Pott Row is an extremely convenient location for going out and about and exploring the area, and at the same time it is quiet and peaceful. There is a pub nearby where the food is excellent, and a chip shop, petrol station and store a couple of miles away at Gayton. I can thoroughly recommend booking this property, it is a happy place to be. I honestly can't think of anything we did not like about it. Many thanks indeed to Mr and Mrs Barlow for providing a super holiday venue."
"A great place to stay, best self catered accommodation we have stayed in, pet friendly with a huge garden, ideal base to tour from, loved it so much we have booked again for next year"
"Iwill be going back to vacation as there was nothing to much trouble it was clean the owners very helpful nothing was to much for them it was the best hols we have been on"
"Large, spacious and very well equipped bungalow in a nice location. Safe large garden for children and dog. The owners provided a warm welcome on arrival and took the time to pass on the necessary information for our holiday. It was quite chilly the week we stayed, but the bungalow was very warm and cosy."
"We stay in lots of holiday cottages and most are nothing more than that. Willow Sunrise is the owners' home and it was a pleasure to borrow it for a week. It is very well equipped with plenty of room and a vast garden which our dogs really enjoyed. Norfolk in springtime is lovely and Pott Row is an ideal centre from which to explore. We enjoyed watching hares and lambs in the fields and an astonishing variety of birds on the coast. The pubs and cafes are welcoming and sell decent food at reasonable prices. We recommend visiting Langham Glass, Le Strange Barns at Old Hunstanton and the Ecotech Centre at Swaffham. There are country houses, castles, farm parks and great museums all within easy reach. If you want a longer but worthwhile trip, try the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. We were very happy during our stay in Norfolk. It is a beatiful county and one we will be visiting again."
"Set in a very peacful village with a stream running down the centre of the green, this cottage was very comfortable. The furnishings were a mix of eras and most rooms retained the look of a bygone day. It was ideally situated for trips to York and to the coast and surrounding hills. The village pub was excellent and residents very friendly."
"the decor might not be modern or to everyone's taste but it was all immaculately clean, tidy and had everything you could need in a home from home. Beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were provided. more than enough room for all and the garden was fantastic. the owner's were lovely and were on call when we needed them. we had a wonderful holiday"
"A lovely bungalow in a small village, with many nearby attractions. The owners came to greet us on arrival, everything we needed was there (except food). Spacious lounge with colour TV, ample crockery and cutlery in the kitchen, comfortable beds and a plethora of toilets! Enclosed gardens but we have no dog, bird table outside lounge window visited by a variety of birds. Sandringham, Stettisham, Hunstanton and Norfolk Lavender all within easy reach with other attractions too numerous to mention between them. We found one week was not enough to visit everywhere we wanted to go."
