Narberth is a great base for enjoying Pembrokeshire and has plenty of interesting shops, tea rooms and eateries, while at night the many pubs, and live music at the Queens Hall means Tenby is a good destination as well. Close by is the seaside resort of Saundersfoot, while the quiet unspoilt beaches at Barafundle and Broad Haven are idyllic all year round.
Reviews
"Wow. We spent a week at The Firs for our anniversary. An amazing lodge with a kitchen better equipped than the one I have at home! So many things provided in the cupboards, takeaway menus to, things to do leaflets. Plus games and some books provided. Loved every minute of our stay and plenty of things to see and do locally and a little further afield. Truly a beautiful location with amazing views and birds of prey flying overhead while in the hot-tub. I felt like I had come home the moment I walked through the door and was so sad to leave. We want to come back for the same week next year but, it's booked already and I'm heartbroken."
"Just got back from this lodge, had a great week. Situated perfectly for short drives to the likes Narberth, Tenby, Saundersfoot ( lovely places) Oakwood theme park. Biggest car boot l've seen in Carew airfield, less than 15min drive (sundays).Plenty of castles to see, not far from lovely beaches and beautiful countryside. The lodge itself, couldn't fault inside or out, Quiet, peaceful and great views. Anyone wanting to stay in Pembrokeshire this is the place 10/10"
"What a fantastic place to stay! It started well with a warm welcome from 'hosts' at the golf course and got better when we saw the property! Tucked away in a beautiful valley just outside Narbeth, Firs Lodge proved the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of the world. Finished to a high standard inside and with the really fun addition of the hot tub, we were delighted with the accommodation. The Wifi even kept my teenagers quiet (when necessary). Narbeth itself is a great little town with a decent selection of restaurants, pubs and shops and Tenby is only a short trip away with its amazing beeches. Great value and highly recommended."
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Lodge. Equipped to a high standard, tranquil surroundings, but also near to the beautiful village of Narberth where there are many good restaurants to be found. Would recommend this Lodge."
"We went to Firs lodge for a week in February. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and the lodge was perfect. Everything was of a very high standard - kitchens and bathrooms fitted to a very high speck. lots of lovely little extras we didn't expect but were delightful to have. The lodge was set in a lovely area just 10 minutes walk from Narbeth which is a lovely village with nice shops and pubs. We didn't use golf facilities but did try the fishing - didn't have much luck but we were amateurs! Only 20 minutes or so from the coast. Would 100% recommend to anyone - family, couples etc"
