Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request (no cot bedding provided). Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Gardens with furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pub 10 mins walk downhill. Note: Check-in time 5pm. Check-out time 9am.

Grange-over-Sands is a pleasant coastal Edwardian town set between the fells of the Lake District and the waters of Morecambe Bay. Grange offers a promenade, ornamental gardens, golf courses and a selection of shops and eateries. Within easy reach are the attractions of the Lake District including Windermere, Ambleside, Hawkshead and Bowness, while the racecourse at Cartmel is also a short drive away.

"The cottage was very good and they had thought about everything you might need for your stay. It was a pleasant and peaceful location. The only problem that we had was that the company advertising the property stated that it was a short stroll to the pub/shops. Whilst the distance may have been correct it was certainly not a stroll. The property was at the top of a very steep bank and had this been in the review of the property i would not have booked it due to having a daughter in a wheelchair and it was impossible to get up and down the bank with her. My parent who are in their seventies also could not manage the bank, therefore we could not leave the property to go out unless we were in the car."
