"We have just spent a most wonderful week here, the accommodation is Just lovely 3 very good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living area is very spacious and comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need. It has free WiFi and good phone reception. There is central heating which is very good as we did use it one night. It is set in the grounds of Swarland Old Hall and as there are only 2 it is quiet. The welcome pack us very nice 2 fresh loaves of bread, tea, milk, a lovely cake and bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see. It is a working farm so there are animal's about but that never bothered us and the family that own and run this are very lovely people and just want you to enjoy your time there which we did"

"On arrival we called at the owners home opposite and was warmly welcomed by the owner Mrs Proctor. The lodge was immaculate and beautifully furnished. There was a welcoming bottle of wine, biscuits, milk and bread. The grounds surrounding the lodge were also well kept and there was a play area for younger children with swings and slides. The views from the lodge were spectacular looking over the surrounding farmland, you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere. However there is easy access to the main A1 which will take you to many of the attractions in the area. Amongst the best holiday homes I've stayed in in the last 20 years. "
