This detached log cabin is near to Saltburn in North Yorkshire and can sleep two people in one bedroom. All ground floor. One double bedroom. Wet room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Utility.
Violet Lodge is a detached ground floor log cabin set in the grounds of a hall on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The cabin sleeps two people in one double bedroom with a wet room and an open plan living area incorporating a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking, a private patio and use of fifty acres of grounds. Just a short walk from the beach and close to the North York Moors, Violet Lodge is a superb holiday home. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Facilities & Amenities
Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Bike storage. Private patio with furniture, parkland footpath to Saltburn. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: Due to the peacocks and wildlife, please ensure dogs are kept on a lead and children are supervised. Please note a second dog can potentially be agreed if confirmed with Sykes and the Owner first. Please call the office before booking if you require a second dog. Please note , Rushpool Hall is a private residence and not open to the public.

Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a Victorian seaside resort on the North Yorkshire coast. It is famous for it's cliff railway and its pier and is a good base for discovering the coast and the moors.

"We booked with Sykes cottages and stayed in July and are returning again shortly. I have mobility problems and this lodge is ideal for anyone who uses a mobility aid or wheelchair as the doorways are extra wide. It was well equipped and comfortable with excellent views of the grounds and Rushpool Hall. There are lots of peacocks in the grounds and the scenery is lovely. (Free wi-fi is available in the hotel lounge)."

"We were very pleasantly surprised by this lodge. The hotel were very helpful in providing extra bed linen and there is a very convenient supermarket close by to buy provisions. The lodge was clean and well equipped and you get regular visits by the local peacocks which is lovely until they decide to jump on the roof in the early hours! We would definitely book to go again and hopefully get a few other friends to take other lodges at the same time. (we wouldn't bother with breakfast in the hotel again though)"
