Reviews
"The Glandwr Cottage is perfectly sited halfway along the main street at Borth-Y-Gest alongside the harbour frontage. It comprises of four bedrooms, three double and one single rooms. The cottage is provided with everything one would require in amenities for self catering. It has two beautifully laid out main rooms one containing a dining area (seating 6 persons) as well as comfy seating and TV. The main sitting room has a combination of Chesterfield type settees and seating with a smart TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi. There is a three piece main bathroom as well as an additional huge shower room. There is also seating both front and back. The views across the harbour estuary are brilliant."
"We spent a week here with our extended family. The cottage has a prime location in the village with the beach across the road. The cottage was always warm and there was plenty of room for all of us. Porthmadog is a 15 minute walk away and stunning beach coves can be found just 10 minutes walk in the other direction. A perfect location."
"This cottage is spacious, very well equipped, and the location cannot be faulted. It faces the picturesque harbour of Borth y Gest, with lovely seaside and cliff top walks to more remote beaches. And the busier town of Porthmadog is only a 15 minute walk away. The cottage was very clean, and had everything we could want - as well as being only a hundred yards or so from an excellent bistro. The layout is quite quirky - a steep staircase and an unexpected step leading to the bathroom, so maybe not a cottage to choose if you are less physically able. My elderly mother was fine - she just had to remember to take her time!"
"A lovely house in a stunning location. You literally open your front door to the most incredible scenery and beaches. Lots of gorgeous seaside walks on your doorstep, a great cafe a few doors down, and all the shops/amenities you need from Porthmadog up the road. Lots to see and do locally too. We'll be back!"
