The small village of Haworth is famous as the home of the Bronte sisters, but today the village is also well known for its antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets. Nearby is the Worth Valley Railway which has a regular service to Oxenhope and was brought to prominence in the film 'The Railway Children.' Other attractions and places to visit are Bronte Parsonage museum, East Riddlesden Hall and the Museum of Rail. Also a short drive away is the market town of Skipton, which is often referred to as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Further afield is the beautiful town of Harrogate and the bustling cities of Leeds and Manchester. Haworth is a perfect base for a peaceful break away.
Reviews
"this is a truly beautiful cottage, clean refreshing and modern with an olde cottage feel, in the hart of Haworth close to all the local facilities, pubs shops restaurants and attractions, if walking is what your after then perfect as you have choices of the Bronte walk or the railway childrens walk all end up with a pub visit plus many others to choose from."
"The quality of this lovely stone cottage is excellent with every modern facility, A real home from home. It is in a very central part of Haworth with a number of pubs and tearooms within 100 yards. Highly recommended.."
"The location is perfect, the cottage is welcoming, I would go back in a heartbeat. It was everything I had been looking forward to. "
"Have just returned from a weeks stay here and can only say that this is a lovely place to stay. Externally the cottage is everything you would expect, charming and quaint. Inside it has been very tastefully refurbished to an excellent standard. Absolutely everything you could possibly need is provided, the owner even kindly provided a welcome basket with bread, newspaper milk and chocolate! The location is really good, being at the top of the cobbled Main Street in a small courtyard type setting. The only negatives are the pub at the end of the street which did get quite loud at the weekend and parking at the front can be a bit "awkward" . Thank you to the owner who very kindly left the heating on for our arrival on what was a very cold night and was available by text for any other issues. I would definitely recommend staying here."
"a lovely spot ideal for all the restaurants etc no log fire or wifi and and main bed was very squeaky"
