Garden with patio furniture and AstroTurf putting green. Putter and golf balls provided. Fishing available on Crinan Canal (no permit required). One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: Canal situated 50 yards away, children to be supervised at all times.

The village of Kilmartin sits at the heart of Kilmartin Glen, one of the most important prehistoric sites on the Scottish mainland. Within 6 miles there are rock carvings, standing stones, burial cairns and the remains of the Iron-Age fort at Dunadd, the home of the first kings of Scotland.

"we new the area before we visited and we were not disappointed the cottage is simple but very clean and well stocked, pleasant view to the front and parking is a short walk away at the end of the row. we took our bikes and found a storage shed provided. and fantastic cycle routs in all directions. Nice wood burning stove we purchased extra coal and logs from the local petrol station, found several good places to eat in town and in Crinan. Cottage was very good value for money and the owners were very helpful and gave good advise about local area would recommend for couples or small family."
