A comfortable terraced cottage and part of a development on an old farm site, this property offers well thought out accommodation to sleep up to five people. Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with electric fire.
This terraced stone cottage is part of a modern development that was built on an old farm site. It has views to the east coast with Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne in the distance. The seashore is just a five minute walk away as is the village of Spittal with restaurants, public house and shops. The property is over two floors and provides comfortable, well furnished accommodation. The sitting room is tastefully decorated and has an electric fire. The spacious, well fitted kitchen has a dining area and there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. Outside there is a lawned area to the front and side of the property with a barbecue area and seating. The cottage is an ideal base to see both the Scottish borders and Northumberland. Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Oil central heating with electric fire. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, DAB radio, iPod dock, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent (hand/tea towels and bath mats - Bath towels not included). Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned gardens to the front and side with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: Access to the cottage is along a 300 metre unmade farm track.

Berwick-upon-Tweed is the most northerly town in England, in the past it has changed hands between Scotland and England no less than 14 times. Today this coastal town offers an interesting place to explore with its narrow streets within the Elizabethan walls. There are walks along the walls where the views over the coast and river estuary are spectacular. Berwick has a diversity of shops, supermarkets, public houses and restaurants. The Maltings Art Centre has a comprehensive calendar of cultural events including theatre, cinema and live music. Berwick has very good public transport links and there are frequent trains to Edinburgh and Newcastle. For outdoor activities, fishing, horse riding and golf are all available nearby. Spittal, a coastal resort, is two miles away and boasts lovely sandy beaches.

"The cottage is a credit to the owners who have converted it to a very high standard, it was loverly and clean and even a wellcome pack to greet us, the colour scheme did it proud, the area is well provided for visiters with lots to do and see,we would love to go again but we now have a small dog and pets are not allowed at the cottage that is the only thing, we would recomend it to anyone,"
