"A beautifully presented cottage, cosy and homely. Very much off the beaten track but easily accessible. Great for those who like some peace and quiet but also quite near enough to places like Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth. Lots to do and see in this lovely part of the world and hosts Leena and Geoff are helpful and welcoming. We stayed for 5 very comfortable nights with a group of 6 adults with plenty of room for all. Well equipped cottage with all the facilities and mod cons you could wish for but Wi-Fi reception is best at the bottom of the stairs! Recommended, nothing to find fault with at all."

"My partner and I stayed here on a last minute getaway from the city and we're really pleased we did! The cottage itself is next to the owners house but still feels separate and private. After driving up the country lane leading to the cottage, that truly makes you feel like you are right off the beaten track (exactly what we wanted!), we arrived. Getting out of the car you can smell the fresh air, hear the birds and the stream in the distance - we could almost feel our shoulders relaxing already! We had a lovely warm greeting from the owners on arrival, complete with a welcome of fresh bread straight out the oven (thank you!). The cottage is nicely decorated with good quality furnishings throughout and has everything you need. The kingsize bed was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings are so peaceful, I had the best nights sleep I've have had in a long time! The logburner was a real treat and perfect for cosying up in front of, with a glass of wine. I think unless you are a very good walker, I would recommend a car to get there but once you are there, you have plenty of places in reasonable walking distance. The local pub is a couple of minutes in the car and probably about a 20 minute walk (depending on your walking speed!). It is run by the local community and had a lively atmosphere. We would definitely recommend fish and chips on a Wednesday night. Overall we had an absolutely lovely stay. It was a real change of scene and very much needed. Hope to visit again soon!"
