Situated on the Lleyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking is the attractive harbour town of Abersoch. The town is also full of local amenities catering for visitors such as shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. With windsurfing, water-skiing and dinghy sailing facilities all close by, water sports enthusiasts can try their hand at these as well as surfing at the renowned ‘Hell's Mouth'. Reviews
"10 minute walk from Abersoch, but far enough to be a quiet location. More spacious than the pictures suggest, loads of room for family of 4/5. Adjoins farm fields, so you have a fantastic outlook, and there's a nice outside seating area with BBQ and table/chairs. Modern kitchen, plus it has Sky TV, and DVD player if the weather turns bad !. I booked through Sykes cottages, who dealt with the transactions, but the owner contacted me to provide the 'welcome' information etc.. Over all good experience, I'd recommend."
"Just spent a marvelous week at this Cottage could not fault it this year we've been back 6 times hope to book it again for next year"
"We needed accommodation for a wedding in Llanegan and this was a great location, only 15 mins walk from the village (same to Abersoch in other direction). Property was very clean and well equipped with stunning views of the beautiful countryside and lots of sheep and cows as direct neighbours. There is a single and twin bedroom next to the entrance, with a good bathroom. Up some stairs is the very spacious kitchen, and lounge. Stairs lead up to the double master bedroom, though it is a shame they could not have squeezed in an en-suite or WC as it is a bit of a traipse down to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Please note that phone signal is challenging in this part of rural Wales. It was a shame there was no internet in the cottage as we struggled to communicate with the rest of the wedding guests. We also found it odd that bed linen was provided, but no towels. This is a stunning part of the UK and Sian was a great host for this lovely building which has been sympathetically resorted from former farm buildings."
"We've just spent the best week away ever. The cottage is lovely, cosy and compact. Has everything you would need on a self catering holiday. Spotlessly clean and beautifully renovated and equipped. Really peaceful apart from the odd cow and sheep! 10 mins walk into town and same to ask the beaches. We had the best weather of the year and visited all the local areas. Fabulous holiday! "
"A great cottage and a great location. The cottage is small, but plenty big enough for our family of four. Set in it's own little Welsh oasis, with fields full of very friendly cows and sheep which the children named and loved! One way it is a 10 minute walk into Abersoch (a little longer on the way back as it is up hill!) and the other way is a 15 minute walk to a great pub called the Sun Inn. Beaches are a 5 minute drive, with Abersoch beach in walking distance. A great holiday had in a fantastic cottage - we will return!"
"Beautiful cottage and location. The beach is only ten minutes walk, a little hilly for those who struggle with walking but we loved it. The cottage is located on farm land with cows and sheep, the cows would come to the fence which was lovely. The weather was great a little hazey in the morning but soon blew over. Come home with a nice tan as if we had been abroad. Our little boy (3.1/2 yrs) enjoyed every minute of it. We will be returning."
"Cottage seemed to be in middle of nowhere, but only 10min saunter into abersoch. Plenty of places to eat-recommend the Thai Restaurant- Cottage very relaxing- Kitchen overlooks Fields."
"This excellent cottage is just 10 minutes walk from the beach and local shops. It is in a great location on the outskirts of the village with far reaching views and cattle and sheep in the surrounding fields a great location to strike out on foot or on bikes. It has plenty designated parking. Very quiet 24/7. It is well kitted out in a tasteful way with full size comfy beds. The owner was lovely so all in all I would totally recommend this cottage and would go back."
"Spent a lovely week in this idyllic cottage. Modern decor and very comfortable."

"Good location, easy walking distance to beach and town centre, Cottage was of high quality, very clean, modern, spacious and very well equipped"
"Well presented three bed cottage recently converted. Facilities for young children high chair/cot on request. Isolation, yet civilisation is only a short walk away lovely sunrises and amazing sunsets. Abersoch is quaint with interesting shops and lots of beautiful beaches. As I said We Will Be Back !"
"The staff at Sykes cottages were always very friendly and helpful. The cottage is in a lovely setting with fantastic views and is very peaceful. The inside of the cottage is well planned and very nicely fitted out. In the kitchen there is everything you could possibly need, including picnic plates etc for eating outside. We had a great time and will definitely book the cottage again. Even the weather was great and it was October!"
