"This is our 2nd visit here after visiting in 2015. It is a fantastic property for large groups but some areas need a little work. The kitchen pots and pans and cutlery need updating. It wasn't as clean as we would have liked, underneath the sofas had been overlooked, one of the bathroom drawers contained body hairs that we'd have preferred not to find. The large sofa in the sitting room is broken. The filter in the hot tub was broken. We did mention this to the engineer who came to fix the control panel, he claimed its a floating filter although the other identical one was firmly fixed in place! By the end of the weekend the water was quite dirty. One of the bedroom lamps didn't have a bulb in, minor issue but makes a big difference. The beds were clean and comfortable. As I said it is a great place for large groups and we did have an amazing time. It's a beautiful property but just needs a little more care and attention before new guests arrive"

"We stayed for my Hen weekend and it was fantastic. The accommodation, Grounds & Hot Tub were brilliant and plenty of space for the 16 of us. All the bedrooms have en suites which comes in really handy and the bedrooms were a great size to. The lady who met us when we arrived was lovely and showed us what we needed to know and explained everything. The only down side was the WiFi kept going off so it wasn't the best and the coffee machine starting leaking on the Saturday morning so this became out of order but to be honest it wasn't anything to major. People are already looking to book again to take there families as it is a beautiful property and plenty of space. All in all it was the best hen weekend I could of asked for."

"A group of 16 of us stayed for 2 nights for 2 peoples 30th. The entire house is amazing, great en suites and the beds are comfortable. Very spacious and modern design. Hot tub is great, 12 of us fitted in! Would recommend , Town close driving distance , but nothing really close by walking distance."

"Enjoyed stay thanks. Mostly comfortable. Well.equipped kitchen. Peaceful yet accessible location. Excessive use of chemicals in jacuzzi indicates water not changed for a while. No WiFi as advertised. Dishwasher not working as advertised. "

"This is a lovely property big bedrooms all with en-suit. What let it down was poor maintenance lighting switchs not working covered with black tape missing lights leaking kettle. Odd cups /Odd crockery Odd/cuterley. Cannot see in the wardrobe at night no lights above. Also should all the elec. BE PACK TESTED? All this property needs is some care and attention. . Who checks the problem? How long will it be before someone gets a electric shock."

"A family of 14 stayed at Moor Farm for a 50th Birthday celebration. Check your satnav as you get nearer as the postcode takes you to somewhere else and if you blink you will miss the turning into the property. We were greeted by Tracey who showed us around the property. Its a very impressive barn conversion with spacious rooms all with en suite. The two bigger bedrooms are to the one side of the property and are huge. One had a roll top bath and shower, the other a Jacuzzi bath and shower. Both lovely but very warm. Both needed finishing touches, pictures, ornaments, some nice bedding etc. It would make such a difference. However, the rooms where very comfortable, very clean and had lovely views. The other side of the property houses the other rooms over two floors. All are lovely. We used the smallest downstairs bedroom/en suite as the communal bathroom save everyone going to their own rooms. The TV lounge is lovely. Three huge sofas, again, very warm with only one small window that opens. The wifi is very hit and miss although the TV has lots of good films recorded for you to watch. The dining room has a lovely long table which seats up to 16. Its a nice room and you can open the doors so its nice and cool. The kitchen was definitely the most used room. It has a lovely corner sofa and dining table. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. An excellent addition was the coffee machine - could have happily bought that home. The cooker works well, saucepans are big enough for if you are cooking for a large group, there are serving dishes etc there are two fridges, a microwave, dishwasher and one freezer. There's a lovely island in the kitchen with stools that was used lots too. The outside space is huge, with a nice grassy area, plenty of comfortable seating but no shade. We were lucky enough to have lovely weather and it was so warm, so may benefit from a couple of umbrellas or an awning. The hot tub was used every day and was lovely and relaxing. We did have a few problems with it throughout our stay ie it not working properly, however Matt was excellent and did his best to fix it in a timely manner. Make sure you take extra towels for use whilst using the hot tub. There is a large gas BBQ, that works well. The town is roughly 15 minutes away and there is a shop/petrol station about five minutes away. Tracey and Matt where lovely, friendly people. Everything we asked for, we got and their gorgeous British Bull dog, 'Arnie' is a star! We were both a little hesitant after reading some reviews for this property, however we couldn't have been more wrong. Tracey and Matt never bothered us and if you're sensible and respectful they wont bother you at all. We would absolutely stay again. None of us wanted to come home. Thanks for an amazing stay!!!!"

"This was an excellent property, with high quality fittings throughout, it would be difficult to ask for anything more from en-suites to every bathroom to two fridges (we used one for food and the other for drink) it is all there and we lacked for nothing. I would definitely recommend this property."

"Lovely stunning barn with 8 great bedrooms & en-suite bathrooms, gorgeous kitchen & dining room, nice big lounge to chill out in, plenty of patio furniture & great hot tub. Soap provided in some of the bathrooms, flowers on arrival, tea, coffee & sugar supplied for arrival all a nice little touch However, when we booked to stay here the house was advertised as a detached barn & no mention of owners living next door, if we had known this we wouldn't have bothered booking, saying that they never really bothered us. all comments below are to advise the owners of the problems we encountered & hopefully people arriving may see some change in the future, as this is a lovely place but with a few problems. They need to relax on the Rules: no shoes is a little over the top. we were greeted by Matt on arrival at the utility door (main entrance to house) whose first words after saying hello were "please remove your shoes", this we felt was a little excessive, it is wooden flooring all through the kitchen & dining area (which we spent most our time) i understand he doesn't want mud on carpets so i think a more appropriate approach of "if all foot wear could be removed before stepping onto carpeted areas it will be appreciated", but if this is the case & he doesn't want footwear worn at all then maybe slippers should be provided. There is also a rule of no food or drinks in the bedrooms or lounge, i personally don't know anyone who doesn't take a drink of juice or water or even tea to bed, also as the lounge was the only place with a tv we felt that saying no to drinks in there is also unreasonable, we like many on a weekend like a glass of wine or lager while watching tv. There is no communal toilet, so having to go back to the bedrooms everytime was a bit of a pain, so in the evening's we ended up using the nearest bedroom to the kitchen which wasn't really fair on the couple staying in that room but it was easier, so we do feel they should put a communal toilet in & we felt that there is plenty of room for this in the utility. Having only 1 key fob for electric gates was a bit of a pain They also need to provide more recycling bins, when we arrived on the friday these were full from the previous people, & were not due to be emptied till the following week so having to leave it on the floor by the bins was not ideal (& there was a lot of recycling with 16 adults drinking). A tip from the boys for the future, they think it lacked something like a pool table, darts board or table tennis etc, & spotted an old barn that could be converted to a games room."

"Just arrived back from a weeks stay at the barn and had a great time. Matt and Tracey the owners couldn't have been more helpful. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard and there was plenty of communal space for our group to relax in. We were a group of 10 and made use of the gas BBQ most days. The hot tub is an added bonus. The location is peaceful and just a short drive from Lincoln. We had 3 disabled people in our group and the ground floor accommodation made it perfect for us. We would certainly recommend this place and will probably visit again."

"After reading previous reviews and feeling a little apprehensive before leaving home we arrived to realize that we had nothing at all to worry about. After a warm welcome from Tracy we were shown round the absolutely huge barn which had plenty of space for our large family group with a massive garden for the kids and dog to enjoy. The bedrooms and seating areas were huge with plenty of room for everyone and we loved the comfy corner couch in the kitchen for chilling out on when cooking etc. The hot-tub was absolutely amazing more like a swimming pool and the whole family used to spend afternoons and evenings chilling out in it. It was almost double the size of any other hot-tub we have seen on previous holidays with room for everyone. Matt and Tracy do live next door to the property but do not bother you what so ever but are available for any advice if needed which is a bonus and a special mention to their adorable grandson who got friendly with our children and helped make their holiday more enjoyable. The surrounding area is great with all major supermarkets within 10-15 minutes car journey away so easy to replenish the stocks and Lincoln itself was a fabulous day out with historical sight seeing and loads of great shops. We spent a day in Skegness that was also great fun with the funfair and the beach and was less than an hour away. All in all we had a Fab week and we would like to thank Matt and Tracy for providing such a great place and wish them all the best for the future. Just a shame about the weather but you can't have everything."

"Thank you to Tracy and Matt for such a warm welcome and the use of there beautiful home. All rooms furnished to high standard and very comfortable, with more space than any other property we have stayed in this is a home we would highly recommend to others wanting a relaxing and comfortable holiday in a beautiful setting. Both Tracy and Matt were on hand and able to advise on days out or with the locations of shops etc, while living next to the property and available when needed they did not encroach on our privacy and were great hosts. The hot tub is spectacular and is closer in size to a swimming pool than a standard hot tub, if I could have got it on a trailer I would have been tempted to bring it home. Thanks again to both Tracy and Matt for a great holiday, wish you both all the best for the future and will hopefully get a chance to come again soon."

"This place is awesome. We went there with extended family for a 30th birthday bash. There was 11 of us in total and found this place to be just what we wanted. The place is massive and there is so much space, that you never bump in to anyone. Both the owners (Matt and Tracey) are just around the corner if you need them for anything but other than that, as long as you keep the place clean and tidy, there are no issues. We had the room with the jacuzzi ad this was great. There is enough hot water for everyone!! Nobody had anything to complain about. It is a great space for entertaining a lot of people and it is just a shame it is booked for Christmas otherwise we would have booked it!!"
