Woodbine Cottage is a delightful, character cottage situated in the hamlet of Burrow, just 2 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and also has a ground floor bathroom. The rest of the house features a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside is a lawned garden with summer house, patio, furniture and BBQ, as well as off road parking. Woodbine cottage is ideal for a romantic holiday away. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and folding bed available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio, summerhouse, furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops 2 miles, pub/bistro 2 mins walk.

"A beautiful cottage in the hamlet of Nether Burrow only a few miles from Kirby Lonsdale and Ingleton and in easy reach of Kendal and Lancaster. The cottage was as described, with everything you need and very comfy. A pint of milk, teabags and cake was left for our arrival which was very well received (we had the cake the following day after climbing Pen Y Ghent!). There is an open fire in the living room with a starter pack of coal, kindling and wood to get you going. We had a small problem with the wifi (our fault completely as it turned out one of our teenagers had switched the plug off!) - a text to the owner was answered quickly and allowed us to work out the problem. We were blessed with the weather for the end of November and pleasantly surprised how much there is to do in the local area. The Highwayman, which is the pub in the village was excellent and we ate there a couple of nights. Eating in Kirby the other evenings (equally as good) All in all a lovely short break in a lovely cottage. Would love to return and conquer the other 2 peaks!!"
"From the moment we arrived at Woodbine Cottage we felt at home. There was a welcome pack for us on arrival with bread, milk, etc. The cottage is decorated beautifully and was spotlessly clean. The weather was so good, we had breakfast in the garden...so peaceful. Lots of places locally to visit and a the great town of Kirkby Lonsdale is only 5 minutes away. Can highly recommend for anyone who wants to visit the lakes/Yorkshire dales. Can't wait to return."
