"Gorgeous. Just back from a fantastic relaxing weeks holiday at the Dairy! Loved it. Peaceful countryside location but plenty to do close by with our 4 kids and Labrador! Hot tub was great and the dairy is really well equipped and beautiful throughout. "
"As roofing contractors we are always on the hunt for accomodation, and this was the one we choose. Spacious and very comfortable and a hot tub to boot!"
"Stayed in The Dairy for one week, with another couple and 2 dogs. Kate met us as we arrived and showed us around. The barn conversion is gorgeous equipped with everything you need. There are 3 good sized bedrooms, the bedding was lovely, and the beds so comfortable. Bathroom was huge and the en suite was fab too. Loved using the woodburner and use of one of the hot tubs is exclusive to The Dairy, so this was perfect for us! Surroundings are stunning and the little town nearby was not very far to travel to and had supermarket there. Have a meal at the Daffodil, this was lush! Kate will recommend places to visit and places to eat at, but she leaves you to it, so you feel like you have the place to yourself. Definitely would love to return some time as this was such a relaxing break, and just what we needed! Sorry its taken so long to write this review...kept meaning to & finally sat down to do it, as started thinking about when next to book :)"
"Me and my husband along with two close friends and our two dogs stayed for a week at The Diairy. We arrived to a warm welcome by Kate who showed us around. Kate also recommended local places to visit and local restaurants. She had a friendly manner and was had plenty of information about the surrounding area. The property was clean, tidy and spacious. There were plenty of amenities and everything was of a decent quality. Luckily for us there were no others renting the other holiday cottages which meant the dogs were given free rein of the front yard. However if we hadn't had use of this area for the dogs there was a lovely courtyard out the back for them. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub, which was clean however did drop to 34' a couple of times, which I would not say was enjoyable and so quickly got out. There were some great walks within a couple of miles of the property which for us keen walkers and the dogs was great. The area was very pretty and very quiet which was lovely. Overall the holiday was enjoyable and the owners were friendly. We would return again."
"We stayed at the Diary the first week in August, visiting were myself, my partner, my brother and his partner and my 15yr old daughter and her friend, we also had four dogs between us. The location is remote enough to feel you are out of the way, with beautiful scenery but close enough to the village to pop out in the car for supplies and takeaways. The Diary was perfect for us, three bedrooms, with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, we all commented on how well we slept in them. The kitchen/lounge was spacious and well equiped, big screen tv, dvds, kitchen had all the appliances you need and the whole place was tiled which was perfect for the dogs. There was a seperate building which housed the washing machine and dryer plus an extra fridge which we only used for bottles of pop as the one in the kitchen was big enough. In addition there is a small gym with pool table and sauna plus a really nice large hot tub for sole use by whoever rents The Diary, the other hot tub was shared between the two other cottages. The hot tub got plenty of use, it was always hot and clean and the views were excellent, four of us sat in it with plenty of room, we did manage five one night but my partner is 6ft 4" and very broad so we couldn't have fitted a sixth person in. The village has chinese, indian and pizza takeaways plus a chip shop and a pub which does fairly standard pub food. We could leave the back door of the cottage open as there was an enclosed patio area which was great for the dogs, the view across the field which was home to the donkeys was lovely and it was nice to pop down and feed them the odd carrot during the week. We were really lucky with the weather, it was mainly sunshine so we travelled to the beaches a couple of days, we found a dog friendly beach about half an hour away at Aberporth which was small, fairly quiet and which also had a nice stream running through it, great fish and chip cafe which was busy but worth the wait. If you like horse riding we can recommend Saddle Tramps which is in Lampeter, its difficult to find but it was worth it when we got there, we are all novice riders so it was only an hour's trek but I believe they do longer ones for the more experienced rider. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in that area, the only draw back I could find was that really you do need a car to get to the village as the only route there seems to be by walking down the road which is narrow, no path and quite steep, we had a close call with a tractor which was driving up the middle of the road when we came round the corner one afternoon, if you want to be able to walk to a local pub then this would be a problem. I was worried the teenagers would get bored but they thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, having wifi in the cottage certainly helped keep them enterained in the evening. One final recommendation, if you are on 02 there is no signal in the area, we spent the week communicating with family via facebook!"
"We did our grocery shopping on line (Tesco) & had it delivered to the accommodation, the nearest supermarket is over 18 miles away. A trip to Mwnt is a must, beautiful scenery and coastal path walks, enjoyed watching the seals & dolphins. Dogs are not allowed on the beach but fine on the walks."
"The accommodation was of a high standard, very clean & the owners Katie & Andy were most helpful & always available. The Hot tub was blissful & maintained daily. Our BMD Bayley was made welcome & enjoyed the place every much as we did. The location was ideal for setting off on our daily sight seeing tours. A truly wonderful break."
"Gorgeous accommodation, the website and pictures don't do it justice. Hot tub amazing. Location good, quiet but lots in easy access including very nice beaches! Would recommend to anyone, whether for a romantic quiet stay in the smaller accommodation they have available also or for a good time wtih a group of friends. LOVED it!!"
"The accomodation itself was beautiful, decorated well and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub!! Location was great, i would definatley recommend the small pub 1.5 miles down the road - doesnt look like much but the food is amazing! Overall, a brilliant place to stay although the female owner was slightly full-on."
