This 18th Century stone built cottage is located in the village of Tanygrisiau near to Blaenau Ffestiniog and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single with additional pull-out bed. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Well-equipped fitted kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and inglenook fireplace with multi-fuel stove.
Glan-yr-Afon Cottage is an 18th Century, stone built cottage in a residential lane in the village of Tanygrisiau, less than 2 miles from Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales. The cottage has one double bedroom and one single with an additional pull out bed, which with the addition of a family bathroom make it suitable for four people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a multi fuel stove. Outside the cottage is an enclosed front garden with furniture and off road parking for one car. Set in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park and with stunning views, Glan-yr-Afon Cottage is a superb cottage in a stunning location. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

LPG central heating with multi-fuel stove in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, Smart TV with freeview, DVD player, iPod dock with radio, WiFi. Good selection of DVDs, books, games, puzzles and toys for children. Fuel, power and starter pack for multi-fuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Complimentary bottle of wine provided. Off road parking for 1 car opposite cottage, additional parking on first come first served basis in allocated parking bay opposite cottage. Enclosed front garden with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (please bring own dog beds and towels). Sorry, no smoking. Pub 20 mins walk. Lakeside Cafe 3 mins walk. Shops and amenities 1.6 miles. Note: Front garden is gated and enclosed by a 3' 5" stone wall.

Tanygrisiau was famous for its slate mining, producing a high quality black slate that was used across the world. Its railway station is on the famous Ffestiniog Railway, a narrow gauge railway built to carry slate from the mines down to the sea at Porthmadog, today it is a renowned tourist attraction.
