Reviews
"Lovely quiet location with comfortable rooms and a good friendly pub close by. The walking and scenery was spectacular. Loved the steam railway with the old fashioned stations. York was a good day out there was so much history to see and Whitby was fun especially if you like fish n chips. The local ales were all tasted most more than once. What a great holiday I will be back."
"The cottage is spacious and well appointed. It is in a peaceful location adjoining a farm. The village is a few miles from a town so a car is essential. A good venue for walking and for touring by car."
"ideally located for York, the east coast resorts , North Yorkshire moors and The Yorkshire Dales.Very comfortable with a very friendly pub almost next door. Both my wife and I, together with our family from Western australia, feel we made a good choice !"
"The Dairy Cottage had a cosy, homely feel to it and is in such a lovely setting. The children enjoyed feeding the ducks on the green and loved the play area just down the road. The grown ups very much appreciated the bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival and taking in the beautiful scenery."
"Dairy House is a comfortable home for four people, in a pretty village, with good access to the North York Moors. Downstairs bedroom for a disabled person proved several yards from the downstairs bathroom."
