This lovely cottage is in the hamlet of Inverasdale, 3 miles from Poolewe in the Highlands. Three bedrooms with sea views: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Utility. Dining room with electric fire. Sitting room with electric fire.
Pool House is a lovely, cosy holiday cottage in the Highlands. With three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single room, it sleeps four people in total. There is also a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen, dining room and sitting room in the house. Outside there is off ro ad parking and enclosed gardens to the front and rear, making it great for children. Pool House is a great cottage for friends and families. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Oil central heating with electric fires. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, TV with FreeSat, DVD, WiFi, CD, selection of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned area to front with furniture, enclosed rear garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles. Note: Tesco food deliveries can be delivered and collected to a location in Poolewe, please contact owner for more information. Note: Netflix and iplayer available in the main sitting room.

Poolewe is a small village at the mouth of the River Ewe, with great scenery and lovely rolling hills.

"Very few places to eat and drink around Gairloch this time of year. Stopped here for late lunch after a trip to Melon Udrigle Beach. Soup, scones, toasties and brownie all very tasty. Small gripe, had to order at the bar through the plastic screen hatch before we sat down. Everything gets brought to the table so I couldn't see why an order couldn't be taken there to save a discussion about what we were all ordering having just walked in the door - felt bit odd. All good therwise x"
"Popped in for an unplanned lunch whilst driving by, what an unexpected treat! Very unique setting around a full size snooker table, surrounded by a lovely collection of curiosities. The service was perfect and lunch delicious. We had the soup and some smoked mackerel pate with oatcakes, well worth a visit!"

"Very nice little cafe with a warm and friendly young lady behing the bar. Wonderful coffee and scone with homemade jam- (rhubarb and ginger for me). My wife had the raspberry and coconut slice which she highly recommends. A nice setting in what must have been an old pub. Huge billiards table in the middle used for local maps and tourist info. Does mean seating is limited which would be an issue on busier days. Didn't ruin the experience for us."
"As the title says Poolhouse has the perfect location. Poolhouse is in the tiny hamlet of Invarsdale about 3mls from Poolewe. It has unrestricted views of Loch Ewe, and the North West Highlands, for a keen amateur photographer like myself this was a dream location. The house its self was fantastic, it has a great cosy living room, with a separate dining room, a small but nice kitchen, and 3 good size bedrooms, there is a decent space off road for a car, and the enclosed gardens will be perfect for anyone with children. The nearest large town is Ullapool about 50mls North, but Gairloch is just 6mls south, which has some useful amenities. I cannot recommend Poolhouse enough, if it is a quiet peaceful, scenic base in which to spend a few days"
"Beautiful house with wonderful view on the Loch! Very clean, very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much! Our kids were really happy because the beach was near the house."
"The cottage is ideally sited for exploring this very scenic area, where late spring/ early summer is a particularly good time to enjoy local wildlife. It is very near to the well known Inverewe gardens and excellent coast or mountain walks are easily found. The cottage was very comfortable, we were a bit surprised not to find a breadknife, oven gloves or coffee maker, but maybe these have now been supplied. We enjoyed excellent sunny weather throughout our stay, which helped."
