Llanbedrog is a small village that sits close to the sea as part of the Lleyn Peninsula. The beach here is extremely popular, benefiting from its southerly aspect. It offers huge expanses of fine sand with glorious views of Cardigan Bay. The shores are often visited by dolphins and porpoises and the sea is also popular for a variety of water-sports. Inland, the panorama is a stunning vista of rolling countryside and rugged Welsh hills. The Snowdonia National Park is within easy access, offering around 82 square miles of unspoilt scenery, which houses a diverse range of flora and fauna. Llanbedrog village also has its own hidden gems, such as Wales' oldest gallery, the Oriel Plas Glyn-Y-Weddw Arts Centre and St. Pedrog's 6th Century church.
Reviews
"Beautiful little cottage just outside Llanbedrog. Absolutely spotless and very well equipped. Lovely welcome from the owner, who greeted us with home made cakes, milk and eggs. Very friendly and helpful family. Nice enclosed play area for small children. Chickens and ponies in nearby fields. Can walk down to the beach from the farm or drive down and park in the National Trust car park. Abersoch only a short drive away."
"Just returned from a 7 night stay in stable 2 and what a beautiful cottage. We are a family of 2 adults plus 2 children aged 4 years and 13 months and the property was perfect for us. The beds were comfy, linen and towels were in a great condition and the whole cottage was spotless! Enough crockery and utensils for us, it really was home from home. The cottage is on-site with the owners bungalow and their sons farm house, working farm behind the cottage (not that you would know, we were never awoken by the animals!) chickens and guinea fowl roaming free and Doris the pig in her pen nearby!! The kids loved it, especially the play area, which you could see from the cottage, with swings, slide and huge trampoline! The owners made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Llanbedrog beach is literally a 5 min walk away, Abersoch 10 min drive one way and Pwllheli 5 mins drive the other. We have stayed on the LLyn Peninsula a few times now in Nefyn, which we love, but with 2 young children we found this area more accessible. We will definitely return to this property and would highly recommend!!"
"Llanbedrog is known to the family what a pleasure to find a homely holiday destination"
