The cottage sleeps six people and has one king-size bedroom which is zip/link with en-suite shower and two twins, one of which is zip/link, together with family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a gravelled area with outdoor furniture. Situated in beautiful Cumbria, Furnace Cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage all year round. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Lockable bike/canoe storage. Enclosed front gravelled garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 8 mins walk, pub 1 mile.

The small hamlet of Newland sits on a hillside, overlooking rural countryside and the beautiful South Cumbrian coastline, just a mile from the historic market town of Ulverston with its cobbled streets and weekly markets. Newlands Beck trickles its way past the hamlet, and lovely walks can be found along Cumbrian Way and the nearby sands and coast.
