A superb, stone-built cottage located on a remote hillside, with wonderful views across the awe-inspiring Wensleydale countryside, just a quarter of a mile from the ever popular Dales village of West Witton and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen and sitting area with woodburner. Summer room with dining area.

Oil fired central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Large patio area with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. Note: Some steep drops from patio area, care should be taken and children supervised. Note: Children aged 10 and over only. Note: CHECK IN TIME IS 3.30PM

West Witton is a small village in Wensleydale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village has two pubs, a well-stocked shop, and an attractive village green. Castle Bolton is nearby, and forms part of the wonderful views over rolling countryside on offer throughout the village. The market town of Leyburn is 4 miles away, with Middleham, Aysgarth Falls and the rest of the Dales on the doorstep.

"There are a number of freview on The B&B listing for the cottage so this is not the real first review This is a perfectly situated cottage adjacent to the owners farmhouse on the edge of Capple Bank with extensive countryside views to an enigmatic tower on a nearby hill from the lovely conservatory dining room (binoculars provided) The cottage is modern and equipped with everything you might need including (fairly) reliable WIFI, a complete Sky TV package (The test match, Yorkshire cricket , GOT all available). Plenty of space for 2 cars and 2 bedrooms mean the cottage can easily cope with 4 adults. There was a welcome gift of a nice bottle of wine, eggs from the owners chickens and homemade marmalade which we are still enjoying. We didn't get to the 2 local pubs but the nearby Berry's farm shop and cafe is lovely with walks to a waterfall and farm-made cook-yourself meals . there is also a small shop in the village."
